Purpose

To enter the Reserves Parameters for your Forecast Definition.

NOTE: The Panel is only visible when the Model Reserves Check Box is checked in the Forecast Definition Window.

Components

Component Purpose
Parameter Type Buttons
Selects the Reserve Parameter type for which data will be loaded into the Parameter Data Grid for editing
Parameter Data Grid
Displays the information related to the selected Reserve Requirements Parameter


There are two generic types of Reserves Settings:

  1. Forecast-based (fixed for the entire Forecast Effective Date Range)
  2. Period-based (Variable by Trading period)


Forecast-based Reserve Requirements

Item Description
Risk Unit
The Reserve Requirement Risk Unit List identifies those Units considered to be capable of setting the risk in any Trading Period in the Forecast.
WARNING! Units not included in this list will not be considered when deciding which Units are setting risk in a dispatch period.
