Modelling Reserves in a Forecast

>> To load Reserves Settings data into your Forecast Definition:

  1. Check the Model Reserves check box at the top of the Forecast Definition Window
  2. Click the Load Data button (or use the Data > Load Data option in the Menu bar of the Forecast Definition Window to open the Load Data Window)
  3. Check the Load Reserves Settings check box in the Load Offers Panel

>> To edit the Reserves Settings in your Forecast:

  1. Select the Reserves tab to display the Reserves Settings Panel
  2. Select risk setting units from the drop down list
  3. Enter all of the other reserves parameters including DC and AC risk offsets, island base risk and RAFs: if your Forecast uses the latest grid and reserves data available from the Energy Link web site then this data will already be present from the dates that you used to define your Forecast


WARNING! Only the units entered as Reserve Risk Setters can set the reserve risk in a Forecast
