A Forecast Component is all or part of a Forecast Definition stored separately as a .xml file.

=== Usage ===
A Component also allows you to save a Forecast Definition in whole or part, for later use or to share with other ''EMarketOffer'' users. This is useful in situations when you have spent time modelling a complex situation, and want to save your modelling for future use.

Components are created by exporting all or selected parts of a Forecast Definition to the Component Library. These Components can be imported into new Forecast Definitions at a later time. Components can also be made available to other users of ''EMarketOffer'' and incorporated into their Forecast Definitions.
